With an installed capacity of 29,000 tons per year (approximately 2,400 tons per month), Igna Casting Solutions offers efficiency, flexibility, and reliability to meet the most demanding needs of various industrial segments.
The company has ample production capacity:
Gray cast iron: parts from 200 kg to 45,000 kg
Nodular cast iron: parts from 200 kg to 24,000 kg
White iron and special alloys: on demand, for specific applications
The molding process is carried out using a no-bake system (cold curing), with mold boxes developed specifically according to each client's project, ensuring high dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and consistent quality throughout production.
Complementing its industrial capacity, Igna has a highly qualified engineering and quality structure, using advanced simulation and development tools such as MAGMA and SolidView, as well as design software such as AutoCAD. These resources allow for the optimization of feeding, solidification, and defect control systems, ensuring greater predictability and performance of castings.
The production process is supported by rigorous laboratory controls and tests, including tensile, elongation, hardness, impact (Charpy) tests, metallurgical inspections, ultrasound, and magnetic particle testing, guaranteeing full compliance with customer technical requirements.
With laboratories structured for sand analysis, spectrometry, and metallurgical control, Igna ensures consistency, repeatability, and superior quality at every stage of the production process.
